I like the sound of the new Raptor, it's deeper and less obnoxious than the Roush Ecoboost I listened to on Youtube. IMO the baritone of a crossplane V8 is awesome but trucks don't always have to sound like that, especially if you get the efficiency and power benefits to go with it.

I was watching the videos on the new Can Am Maverick X3 (which is ******* awesome if you haven't checked it out: Maverick X3 X rs | Can-Am ) and the flat plane inline 3 cylinder in there sounds a lot like the V6 Raptor. It's going to be a common sound in the desert.

They even tow it with a Raptor in the promo.

Sounds modern for sure. I don't think future owners will be sacrificing much of anything in the sound dept.

If it's a V6 twin turbo, and a 2000hp Nissan GTR is a V6 twin turbo they'll sound the same IMO lol

Jokes aside a bigger or an extra muffler to tone down the exhaust and a short ram intake to amplify turbo noises should suffice.

Right. Bigger mufflers plus offroad downpipes should equal a quite nice sound, indeed.
