My parts are here and getting installed. They are replacing the plug and module. I’m not thrilled that they are splicing 30 wires. I expected a whole new harness from front to back

I asked “ why not a new harness”?? This is what ford told them to do…..

I think under the warranty terms they can repair or replace the defective part, but that’s pretty amateur.
I take exception to @HighwaySentinel calling this ghetto however. Ghetto is way classier than this fix.

I’m sure the harness is a **** to replace but it’s a bit of a risk if they have to come back on this repair. Sometimes you have to bite the financial bullet to make the repair right.
