It might be a good idea to get a second opinion at a different Ford Dealership, cobrajet. Enter your ZIP code here for some options: Ford Dealers | Locate a Ford Dealer Near You | Ford.com How many miles are on your Raptor?

Crystal
I should, I just don't have time to drive 45 minutes to the next Ford garage and sit for the day right now. I have north of 15K miles on my truck.

DREAM CRUSHER!!!!!!!!!!!! Fine make me run the stupid OEM ones, If I blow an IWE it will be your fault and I will never forgive you. :flipthebird:

Hate to buy a set of the deletes when you have a working system coming out but man I hate the idea of running the OEM ones again, especially if I throw the 37's on for snoball. Maybe I can find a cheap OEM one to bring as a spare
I'll have two spares with me. Amazon carries the Dorman replacement IWE at about $70 / each. Here is the part number.

Not normal at all!

And as far as engagement goes, you can be at a stand still. When you start to move again, take it slow to ensure there is good engagement with the IWEs. You wouldn't want to nail the gas. That is one way to strip it for sure.

See if Crystal can contact the local rep for your dealer. They got some warranty work coming!

Yea I am torn between, buying the one on Amazon (Been sitting in my cart for months), Getting the Deletes or Rolling up to snowball on stockers with no spares hoping they hold. Trying not to waste money on a spare(s), when it could go to deletes or the upgraded unit when they are released. could just get the deletes and have them installed when the Fox 3.0's go in shortly.

I know I know, I hate that it's taken as long as it has, but its been very difficult coming up with solutions and sticking to OEM design. We want to make sure that it's done right. Current prototypes have been very promising, so we believe if they can make it through a snoball run, then we would feel more comfortable with moving towards a public release.

And having an extra test subject is better... Just messing with you. Unless you actually want another tester. Wouldn't be the first time I've purchased something before launch.

Buy the spare on Amazon or buy mine at the bar for $100

Quite jockeying for position. I'm supposed to be next in line. I'm sure after the prerun I'll have two dead IWEs.....
