Dodge to discontinue V8 Hellcat (TRX), What does that mean for Raptor R?

True bro, electricians will have a hey day installing fast chargers in houses, which will require upgraded panels for 230 volt charging, otherwise, it will take a day to charge most vehicles with expired battery charge. There needs to be tax credits for these vehicles, which Canada has and I know Biden is offering tax credits as well, or suppose to. This will all take time.
Tax credits? Basically subsidize your car purchase?

You’re either going to burn hydrocarbons in your car or burn hydrocarbons to charge your car, you pick. I personally would prefer the freedom to drive all day with 10 mins refuels.

Don’t get me wrong the EV technology is cool, yet still lacking for practicality. They aren’t quite as green as the greenies hoped for either

Air dam is to provide some additional cooling for the battery. The horizontal light bar (also works as charging status bar) is no worse than the gigantic light bars meant for off-road use only that some people like to put on their Ford Taurus sometimes. As for the rest, I’m not into zoophilia but it actually looks pretty cool up close.
Isn't battery down low, between the frame rails? Wouldn't directing air underneath the vehicle put the air in the right place? That little tiny grill just above the bumper looks to be plenty. What does plowing the big square box above the grill through the air do to direct air flow? You build an energy-efficient vehicle and give it the drag coefficient from hell? And a charging bar? Really? I have no words for that.

It's all about the Paris according epa fuel standards. The hellcat engine was a large percentage of the vehicles produced for the mfg and affected the. Or average mpg rating. The Raptor R will be a much lower production so it should be OK thru 2025. After 2024 we may get some grown ups back in charge and get us out of this idiotic agreement. EV's are fine if you want to be tied to the Plug, they will never be an option for me, even if I build my own future Raptor.

Idiotic? Just because all China agreed to do was 'try' to get rid of coal? And there are zero penalties for failing? And we're pledging to spend out the a$$ for solar cells ... which are made by the Chinese? What could go wrong?

Resale in 10 years when the battery is dead or dying I am sure will affect resale value. Gone will be days of barn finds that start right up.
The oldest crap EV's (1st gen Leaf, etc) are in that range and have not been impacted in the way you say. It follows that the improved batteries in that time would mean vehicles produced today should follow a similar trend. To further reinforce that your statement is flat out wrong, a 3 year old Tesla Model 3 with 35k miles is sells for more today than when it was purchased new. Do you really think it will see a 70% deprecation in the next 7 years?

I'm working with my 2 year old to understand that when someone else does something wrong it doesn't give you permission to do so. Great, China wants to keep ******* the world for our kids and grand kids. We can make different choices as a society. Alternatively, you can probably move to China so you can live in a society that aligns with your world view.

Pretend I'm two years old. What isn't wrong about exporting our pollution and energy-intensive manufacturing to China? Feeling virtuous about it is a sign of stupidity. An accord is where people agree. The only thing we agreed to is to bend over and let China **** us in the ***. And it won't do one single thing to save the planet. Our boy Brandon is one heck of a negotiator. If he was a Ford salesman I could probably get him to pay me to take a Raptor off his hands.
