I just got back from vacation and before I had a chance to start my truck, I received this message in my Fordpass App.

This is the first time I have seen this message and I was not aware our trucks had a deep sleep mode.

No worries on deep sleep mode. I’ve had my 2018 Raptor sit for more than three months. I checked the voltage before I started it and was nearly at full charge.

Deep Sleep mode slows the discharge when the truck sits. Don’t be tempted to remote start the truck when off traveling the world. That would defeat the purpose of deep sleep mode, meaning that the timer gets reset and your battery will drain faster.

Deep Sleep mode is your friend...it works as intended.

Enjoy!

You just need a key, as all the electrical ways to get the truck started are off.

Its basically the truck saving the battery so when you finally get back to your truck, it has the juice in the battery to start.

Thanks Maryland...correct on the key...you’ll need it to unlock the truck. If you have 802A, you’ll need to use the key that is inside the fob...just pull that out and unlock. Then use the start button to start.

Mine went into deep sleep mode before, I don't recall using the physical key to open it.
