I've got an 18 Raptor I've had for a little over a year, but debating on whether or not to sell it and get the Jeep Trackhawk. No dislikes with the truck at all, but I test drove one of the Trackhawks a few weeks ago and can't stop thinking about it!

Thoughts?

Probably lots of biased opinions in this forum - but I can imagine that trackhawk is quite a ride. I guess it depends on how you use your truck. For someone who doesnt need a truck then the trackhawk is certainly a fun option. For towing anything, hauling anything, using a raptor as intended to get you to the middle of nowhere....a trackhawk is not an option.

I think if you read the reviews on this site and others about Jeep, or FCA in general, about vehicle quality/ reliability, you'll be happy to keep the Raptor. Of course, I may be a little biased...

I can't say I blame you. Just driving the regular SRT8 was a blast. FCA does want a pretty penny for the SRT8 and the Trackhawk which I cant justify. For close to a 100k I'd personally consider a GLC63 or maybe an X5M if I were after a fast SUV

That's the thing, I don't use the truck for hauling/towing anything, just my wife and kid :)

My Daughter has a 2017 SRT Grand. No it's not a Trackhawk, but it is still a great ride. Really well appointed. I am really impressed with the vehicle. Haven't had any issues so far with it. I imagine the Trackhawk is a beast.

I've found that the 18s are going for anywhere between $78k - $84k depending on the dealer, no difference in an 18 and 19. I've looked at GLE 63 AMG and the X5M, but then you start creeping up to around $110k - $115k, which is way out of my price range.

Really like the white on black look. The Trackhawk was pretty exhilarating to drive, which is why I cant stop thinking about buying one.

Surely you will get a lot of perspectives... one that led me to choose the Raptor over the options you're considering and many others is resale value. Not many "fun" vehicles retain significant value... in fact usually they go in the opposite direction fast. The Trackhawk, the GLE, the X5M will all be worth about half of the sticker price in 5 years time. Now... if you were considering swapping the Raptor for a new GT500, that would be another story.
