Have you tried the 5.8 Trinity engine? That thing is a beast. I think that's a better engine than the 6.2 blower motor in the CTS-V's.
Why? The 5.2s have done just fine by me. In fact, if my 3.5 ever gets tired, I'd like to replace it with a 5.2 CPC motor. I see no reason to dabble with anything motor-wise beyond what came in them. My 16R has roughly 15K in track-only mileage on it. The 15 i had was sold with 8K in track mileage on it. ( the new owner wrecked it, unfortunately), the 16 I had was still going strong, last I spoke to the new owner, granted he has to rebuild the uniballs that I swapped in place of bushings.

But at the end of the day, my response will continue to remain "why?"

Suck that some knuckleheads stray from the intended topic.

Agreed. Voodoo motors have as much to do with a ****** undercoating job as "what color you should name your first born".

OP- If Ford says "we can't help", it is time to introduce your dealer to your legal counsel.

Best of luck. Stick with it. play hardball.

Most importantly, let your lawyer know that this is a "no holds barred" type of situation as far as how aggressive he or she should be.

Most dealerships truly believe that when they do someone dirty, as long as they tell them to "**** off" in a stone-cold manner, that the consumer will be too lazy to get a lawyer and make an example out of them.

It is getting harder and harder to find dealerships that still value " customer for life".

I honestly go to the dealership that I do because my salesperson is really awesome. If he ever leaves, I leave. the owner of said dealership knows that "My guy" is a lot of other people's "guy". the local buyers that roll in and pay cash for multiple vehicles every year ( whether personal, commercial, or both) only want to deal with this one individual.

People buy from people, not corporations. If you treat customers like dumb consumers, they'll choose to just not be around "people" like that.

I had hoped that "Ford Performance" would treat customers with the same level of gravitas that MB approaches AMG customers with, but I've learned over the past 5 years that this is not the case, even when considering a Ford GT.

Ford Packs huge value into the Halo vehicles, but you have to deal with "value-oriented" levels of customer service and issue remediation to go with it.

Try to keep your head up. It is the holidays, enjoy your family and let your blood pressure settle. Being pissed over the next few days won't make remediation happen any sooner, and everyone deserves to be happy and enjoy family over the holidays!

Sorry to hear this. Those photos speak for themselves and that a true amature was working on this. I am going through the same situation with a 2019 that I took delivery of last Friday, only to notice the under carriage has excessive rust.

I’m pissed for you. I mean you took a perfectly new truck and got back a train wreck. I think everyone agrees it was a mistake ( you, the dealer, us) but they need to make it right. Either replace the truck (which they can do) or you take it to someone who can fix the damage they caused. They admit they can’t fix your truck any better than already done. In that case get a price. Call the gm if he’s a **** ask for the owner. Sometime f and I guy had good pull with owner. Tell them here’s your options it’s x to fix it or you replace the truck.

I would get a lawyer asap. I am not surprised on the response from Ford corporate. They hide behind the dealer/manufacturer relationship when it suits them. Get a lawyer that specializes is such stuff, he can recoup his/her fees by going after the dealership. I would demand a new truck. Period. Accept nothing less. Also file a BBB complaint.
