I, like you whtrapta, have been thinking about the various options available. I found this thread over at SVT pretty interesting. In particular it discusses that the ride does NOT get stiffer with a perch mod...mainly changes the available compression travel. Both affect alignment and suspension angles.

Not that we can't repeat this full discussion over here...just trying to be efficient. Plus I'd love the opinions of some of the members here on what has been written.

Just to confuse me even more, the lift "expert" in my po-dunk town says that the ReadyLift is better than the DayStar and he claims that the Truxx requires that something be cut. Looking at the pics, the ReadyLift and the Truxx look the same to me and the DayStar looks like a better idea. Nothing to break but the bolts.

i think the shock mount bolts have to be cut for the Truxxx, right?

it's not the spring that makes the ride stiffer but it must be the shock tuning because the front is definitely stiffer over bumps. instead of feeling squishy its very hard.
