Ok... so I have posted some of my frustrations on this topic on the TRR thread so I won't re-hash all that. Now that TRR is settled down and I'll give my very consice feedback on ADD

PROs:

- I honestly believe they are good guys and trying to do the right thing..
- They have well built products that are for the most part designed well
- They are "custom" oriented. They wanted to give me what I wanted.
- They package stuff well for shipment. I was impressed how they put everything together.
- In general when I called them I got a hold of someone and they tried to help me (many times taking a message and someone else calling me back).

CONS:

- I was quoted 5 weeks (venom front/rear/sidesteps, winch, lights, ect, asfir skid plates).... received my stuff 3 months later (1 day before TRR)
- They took a $3000 deposit on all the stuff I ordered..... for something they built 2 months later
- They never contacted me to tell me that they were 2 months behind schedule (I had to keep calling to pester them "should ship out next week...")
- They told me they would powdercoat the skid plates cheap (committed to one price) then called me back right before the stuff was to ship and told me it would be 4x what was quoted and if I still wanted it, it would take an extra week.
- I still haven't seen an invoice....
- I paid $100 extra for "Guaranteed" shipping to make sure I got the stuff on the weekend before TRR but when it still took 7 days to ship (from AZ to TX), they still haven't given me my money back for the guaranteed shipping. (even though I called and asked for it back...)
- The sales guys seemed powerless (and clueless) to what was happening on the production floor.

Again.... these are simply the facts. If I saw something they made I liked I would still order from them if I had time to wait for it. Never again will I order a complete package like I did. You would think that if you spent $6k with a company that they would work harder to make you happy.

Part of me wants them to chime in on this thread and provide some sort of excuse but I honestly don't think anything other than fixing their mistakes will do.

Plus I am sure they would get bashed, if they took the time to post and are a light year behind on their orders...

I think I saw Sean post something the other day. Didn't take not of what it was though. I'm sure they've seen this.

Why isn't this thread in the ADD Vendor forum?!

Addictive Desert Designs - FORD RAPTOR FORUM - Ford SVT Raptor Forums - Ford Raptor

ADDSean has posted in that forum multiple times today!

These kinds of posts should, IMO, be put there and you all should be calling ADD out in their own Vendor forum.

You have every right to post here (or wherever the mods allow you to post) but I believe the process should be:

1. Call the vendor
2. Email the vendor
3. Call the vendor and email the vendor (more)
4. Find out where the owner/manager/workers live and call them there
5. Post in the Vendor's forum
6. Post in other forums (after giving them some chance to respond to #5)
7. Lawyer up

Note to guy with father who's a lawyer: If I were any vendor anywhere and I found out you had a family member who is a lawyer I would absolutely never do business with you. That includes anybody buying something who is him/herself a lawyer. Lawyers are, by far, the most dangerous customers a company can have. There's no business a company can do that can make it worthwhile to do business with a lawyer, especially small and medium-sized companies. Ask me how I know.

Note to guy who gave a company a $3,000 deposit: You are very lucky you got your product (I believe you said you did). You also may want to reconsider how you do business with small to medium-sized companies that you can't go visit periodically (or have someone do that for you). In this economic climate people like you are getting ripped more than ever before by companies who do it intentionally and/or by companies who are dying and use the deposits for their cash flow. Caveat emptor

I wish you guys good luck and hope ADD comes through for all of you.
