I just ordered my CAI with new exhaust. I will get a before and after dyno :).....if I get to leave the AOR.....Deployments are one of the few times where the word "extension" is not a positive thing!:throw:

Tecman, did you ever get those before and after dyno runs done? I'm sure that a lot of us would enjoy seeing the results.

I don't need no stinkin dyno to tell me when it's time to get up and pee.

Just a few misconceptions here...

Dynos do not stink, at least not by nature. Most often it is the person using the dyno as a marketing tool that stinks.

Dynos cannot tell time, and they cannot tell you the time.

Dynos will not tell you to do anything. They can't even tell you NOT to do something.

Dynos do not pee. They do not know what pee is. In point of fact, pee does not compute for dynos at all. So they don't care if you pee or if you get up to do it.

And here I was thinking I'd learn nothing in this thread...

The youtube test is non sensical - no detail on what manufacturer of filter and it the one used looks like a cheapo derivative copy of a mainstream brand

I have run turbo cars for 14 years - Subaru and Evo, and have had excellent results from CAI (K&N) custom pipe layout (Myself)....no issues

Normally aspirated engines will benefit purely down to clean air with less restriction - the only way to improve is to find a MAF that runs on a larger diameter intake pipe and have the mapper re-scale the map to suit the differing voltage parameters of the new MAF

Wrap the intake - it works- the 6.2 makes more heat than my 2.0 500 hp evo-
