Did anything change after the rears were replaced? I definitely have noisy front struts but I think my rears may also be making some noise. They ordered two fronts for me. Didn’t even put chassis ears on it. We already replaced your rears so it must be the front.
Nope may have even gotten a smidge worse. Hard to tell. Will see when they show upDid anything change after the rears were replaced? I definitely have noisy front struts but I think my rears may also be making some noise.
A squeak noise is not a symptom of the shock issue being discussed in this thread. Is your truck completely stock? My front suspension is squeaking pretty bad. Sounds like I'm driving an old POS. Its been to dealer already once and they fixed it by replacing both front strut’s top hardware and retorquing the top strut bolts but the squeak is back 3 weeks after the fix.
Anyone else have this same thing?
I had a feeling I posted this is the wrong thread. Wasn’t sure if they were somehow tied together.A squeak noise is not a symptom of the shock issue being discussed in this thread. Is your truck completely stock?
Well that might explain it. Installing collars changes ride height, which can cause noise from the control arm bushings. When any lift is installed the upper and lower control arm bushing bolts should be loosened and retorqued with the weight of the truck on the suspension to eliminate any binding.I had a feeling I posted this is the wrong thread. Truck has 1.5 collars installed. Other than that, it’s stock.
