I’ll be trying a different dealer. The first one called me back and said “we heard the noise a little but couldn’t tell which side so we can’t order parts. You can take the truck until it gets worse.”
Strange how the Ford Pass App doesn’t show a change on the odometer since yesterday but they “test drove” it again today.
Talk about lazy. I hate dealers like this. It’s like pulling teeth to get them to figure out an issue when the owner KNOWS it’s there. My dealer also only test drove mine for less than a mile but I wasn’t worried about calling them out until there’s a fix. Now that there’s a fix they’re damn well going to hear it even if I have to put their ears on the chassis.

When I took mine in I told them about the clunk. Told them it’s been there since day one. Told them not to call me and say they couldn’t duplicate it. I said I would gladly go with the tech so we can sort it now. They called and said they heard it and it coming from the right rear. I asked how they diagnosed it. Service advisor didn’t know. I brought up chassis ears but he was fuzzy. He told me they would order a new RR shock. When I got there to pick it up they wanted to take it for another ride because they found out the shock cost $1300ea and the old one needed to be returned to Ford for reimbursement. If they were wrong Ford wouldn’t refund them. I’m glad they are replacing the one but I’m not convinced it will solve the issue. Too many of us have this issue for it to just be one shock here or there on random trucks. I think there are multiple or all shocks causing the issue. Especially if it’s a machining issue like we’ve heard.

Based on the diagnostics I did on my 21 which included replacing the left front upper strut mount and using my own chassis ears on different locations of the suspension, I do believe the noise/feel I have is in the struts. I picked my truck up today with no parts ordered. I am going to make another video on Monday using my chassis ears so that I can present that to the dealer.
I work at an auto dealer (bmw obviously) and I know each manufacturer has their own rules but where I’m at, if a customer comes in with a complaint and there is a bulletin or ssm describing exactly what the customer is complaining about, there really isn’t any issue in replacing parts.

In my previous life many years ago, I was an outside sales rep for a national office supply company. I became friends with all the store managers in the area. One manager in particular would answer the phone, someone asking if he had something in stock, he would tell them to hold so he could go look. After a minute or two of us sitting there BS'ing, he would pick up the phone and tell them "nope". Once I saw that, my whole outlook on the world changed.

Dealer called yesterday and said the new shock is in. I’m scheduled for Friday am for them to replace it. I will update after. Again I’m not to optimistic as I can hear/feel it in the front over bumps before the rear even gets to the bump at low speed. I believe I have multiple bad shocks.

I agree.....I will be shocked if my "clunk" is not coming from my front end....not the rear as others have stated.

Well.....had my first visit with dealership yesterday regarding my "clunking" with zero help. It's a long story....but, essentially....everyone was clueless and couldn't replicate the clunking, even though I was in the truck and felt it as it happened. Tech kept saying it felt fine and normal to him....ugh!!

After showing them the video and giving them the SSM....they were all stumped and couldn't tell me whether or not the tech actually found the SSM or used Chassis ears as I requested. They're response was that the tech even test drove a new raptor off the lot and the two trucks drove the same.

Received an email from the service rep about 5 mins after leaving the dealership and after she read the SSM asking if I could bring the truck back in so the "tech" could spend "more" time with my truck. So.....I'm assuming they realized that I'm not on crack and might actually be telling them something they didn't know and now want to put chassis ears on!

Going back in Tuesday with fingers crossed "we" can get to the bottom of this! Because I absolutely love my truck....but, the clunking is driving me nuts and ****** me off a little more everyday. As I've stated to the dealership....this is my 3rd raptor and this issue is certainly NOT normal!

I'll let everyone know how my next visit turns out.

In the meantime, if there's any Ford rep's lurking on here....feel free to DM me for assistance in this matter.
