Clunking sound on Gen 3 too

They replaced both my fronts, front feels a lot better. Now the back that’s another story . I’m going to drive it a bit before I go right back at them again.

Hi all, I have a 21 raptor that has had the infamous clunk since day one (70 miles) the day i got it. We’ll my local ford here in Colorado just replaced all 4 shocks and let me just say it drives like a dream now and no more clunk. Go get your shocks replaced under warranty asap!

does your work order show the part numbers they replaced the shocks with? Interested to see if there’s a new part number associated with the upgraded shocks.

My dealer is replacing my rear shocks, but they are saying they are on back order… it’s been a few weeks now. Those that had theirs replaced, how long did you have to wait? I fear my fronts are shot too, but dealer could replicate there.

My dealer too said they couldn't duplicate the sound, or it was very faint and asked that I come pick up my truck. I then provided the SSM. They said the SSM was not in the Oasis for my truck, so you need to be persistent and force the dealership to do some work.

Fingers crossed that they'll run through the diagnosis and attempt to remedy the issues.

All of you guys that are having the clunk work done, are your trucks bone stock? Mine has collars and rear plate and I need to take it in for the clunk, but just really concerned that they'll say it's normal and I'll have spent time and money returning it back to stock for nothing

Who is your dealer? Im in the Denver area too. I tried Castle Rock Ford last week

Mine is bone stock. Dealers are all different reference the bulletin and tell them it did it before you bolted the add ons

I’m curious if anyone can confirm if the 37 trucks have this same clunk?

I have a 35 and of course it has the clunk.
