We seem to be having a shit ton of thefts in my area and they are snagging the Cats on any vehicle they can crawl under.

I haven’t checked my truck and thought I’d ask here if the access to the Cat is covered by a skid plate or something making it difficult to steal?

Don’t really know how much of the Raptor has under protection or if that’s even an option but I’d be interested if anyone’s done some kinda upgrade to cover up that section of the truck.

Thanks.

Same here. They are snagging 20 plus a month in my small town. Thank the Governor (soon to be recalled). You don't go to jail for crime anymore. Cops say, sorry file a claim with your insurance.

why should the do jack sh*t anyhow? Defund the police amiright? Strip em of qualified immunity? Sanctuary states/cities, open borders, decriminalize all drugs. Why should they even brother lifting a finger. Collect a check like everyone else.

It’s not that easy to get at the cats on a tt vehicle & the raptor is esp tough

Would be a pita to cut out raptor cats as they are tucked up near the manifold unlike a lot of vehicles that have them right there in the belly.

Yeah. Raptor is tough to get. For other reasons than protecting the cats, you could get a transmission skit plate, which would cover them 100% and protect the transmission. I ordered one from RCI on 3/2 and still haven't seen, so be prepared to wait a bit. On my Gen1, I've punctured a cat off-road, but the Gen2 should be better in that regard.
