Didn't they just catch a few guys recently and then just yesterday they found a guy crushed under a car, it fell on him while he was cutting one off. Think you're safe now, lol.

Would be a pita to cut out raptor cats as they are tucked up near the manifold unlike a lot of vehicles that have them right there in the belly.

Yeah. Raptor is tough to get. For other reasons than protecting the cats, you could get a transmission skit plate, which would cover them 100% and protect the transmission. I ordered one from RCI on 3/2 and still haven't seen, so be prepared to wait a bit. On my Gen1, I've punctured a cat off-road, but the Gen2 should be better in that regard.

In my area Southern California this week they had a cat theft suspect have the car fall off the jack and crush him to death. Too bad this doesn't happen more often it makes it so easy to locate the suspect.

They busted a major ring down here as well. They racked up 100’s of cats and who knows how long it was going on. Last time I heard there was another group harvesting airbags. Expensive place for auto insurance. And thanks to hurricanes homeowners insurance LOL

They need to start dealing with these ***** on a more serious level. It’s hard enough to get a conviction and when you do, they slap these clowns on the ass, give em a lollipop and they may get a few days in jail. I’d like to see them get two to the back of the ****** head personally. I’m sick of these ***** thieves.

I took my gen2 Raptor to a local shop here, they specialize with Exhaust systems and are very busy installing cat deterrent plates that cover the cats (I installed one on my 2010 Toyota Sequoia) They told me the location of our cats and located in what would be difficult location covered by factory and I shouldn’t be concerned, if anyone hears otherwise, please respond to this thread.
