Ca smog

So last night I got screwed by a dealer in SoCal. They pulled the bait and switch on me. Long story short I am looking to purchase out of state now. Does a 2018 or 2019 Raptor have to have the ca emissions to register it in California? I am running into mixed reviews about this.

I feel your pain, same shit happened to me back in late 2016. I purchased out of state. It does not need CA emissions. Some people did it differently but heres what I did. When you get it you need to do a Smog (it will pass) and get a VIN verification to then complete the process at the DMV. I had a DMV registration service go to the DMV for me as I dont have time for that. I just supplied them with the two things above and a check for the fees (like $150 bucks since I already pAid sales tax) PM me and ill get you in touch with the person if you want to go this route.

Every raptor has 50 state emissions. All you need is a smog check and you need to have the truck weighed. That is all you need.
