Build date 4/13/18?Hey gents and gals! So I haven't owned a Raptor since my 2013 SC new off the lot, I loved the ride and capability of the truck. Obviously back then the tech was so bad and frustrating I remember being on the phone with Ford reps fussing about sync this and sync that way too often. ANYWAYS
I'm potentially back in the market, reading all of the information on these forums and I feel like I have a pretty good feel for what to look out for. My dilemma is I found a 2018 CC 802A with just under 23k mileage one owner clean clean clean truck garage kept, truck bed looks like it's never been used. Price seems reasonable at just under 50k?
I don't know if the oil pan is plastic? And I don't know is Cam phasers have been replaced or repaired or anything like that? Should I look into this truck more? Or should I wait on a nice 20/21 to pop up in my price range(22 with just over 50k mileage for 59,000$) sorry for the long post and scattered thoughts. I am very interested in the 18' with low miles, but it's 6 hours away and can't really inspect on a whim.
Carfax only shows regular oil changes and a couple of recalls that were taken care of. Any thoughts and opinions are appreciated, hoping to purchase soon. My best friend just bought a High Country Chevy Silverado because he had to have super cruise and it's the worst riding truck I have ever sit in. Literally hurts your back when roads aren't pure...so to me why not get the Cadillac of trucks?!
