So,
We made it back from the Hampton Inn, in San Antonio, with the Raptor in tact. I was sitting in the lobby last night around 11, having a drink with a couple other baseball dads and an older couple came in and told/warned us they had just seen their new F250 being broken into. I guess they started yelling at them and the thieves took off with some items, but didn't have enough time to take the truck, if that was their intent.
Cop showed up and "reviewed" the video footage. No idea on any outcome. F'ing crazy, I would imagine hotels are going to start having to hire a security guard, though i guess that may open them up to some kind of liability.
It's a sad state of affairs down there.
@Cuzin Eddie
I guess you work over there? You do any offroading man? We should hit Sand Hollow sometime. It's a blast in the Raptor.
Yeah... I work at Seven Oaks. Would love to hit Sand Hollow!

For anyone curious, Border Patrol called me this morning and said they had recovered the stolen Raptor. The perps were attempting to bring it across the border to use to bring illegals in, BP said most of the seats were removed so they could fit more illegals in there. BP tried to do a traffic stop and they fled but gave up shortly. They said the truck was in pretty good shape though, they didn't notice any serious damage other than the missing seats. My insurance claim hasn't been finalized yet so I think most likely they are going to make me keep the truck and they will just pay for the damage. So looking like I'm going to have 2 trucks. Will definitely be selling one or the other.
