brakes

A buddy did the lines on his 2014 and had that problem. I think he ended up buying a new hard line and replaced it during his upgrade after he broke his trying to disassemble it.

Yep that was me! The flex line from caliper to the hard line does not come apart (mine is a very late year 2013). You can either cut the hard line and re-flare it or just run the stock soft lines. By the time I finished, I was just ready to get the truck running again, so I went with the stock set up. Still a very noticeable improvement over stock by swapping to SS lines on the front and the ones you can replace on the rear.

I to have a 2013 but I flared the line and used all 6 new braided hoses. Btw the lines that SDHQ uses are made by crown and you can buy them from a bunch of different places and save yourself 50 or 75 bucks SDHQ is marking them way up I bought mine from dezertdepot.com good guys crown even sent the wrong lines (f150 lines) the first time they sent me a new set and let me keep the old to give to a buddy for my troubles. So I would give them a shot if you are in the market.

Scrap, I just opted to order new rear hard lines from Ford, and I'll utilize all 6. However, what did you do for your front hoses, how are they anchored? The factory hose runs through the bracket.

This looks like a very nice brake upgrade package. I might request a set of slotted rotors (with no holes) for a truck like the Raptor. Not real likely but possible to get small rock(s) into the rotor holes and then wipe out the pads. I see on Baer website the offer a slotted only rotor option.

When Porsche put big brakes on the Cayenne Turbo they went with solid slotted rotors, for this reason. Always seemed like a good dea to me when thinking about adding bigger brakes.

When they came out with the Ceramics for the Cayenne they figured no one would go offroad with that set up. I also imagine they did not want to come up with a second rotor option for the ceramics, since they only come drilled now.
