Here's an update - turns out it's nothing to do with the brake pedal.
IF the truck sits for an hour or two - it starts and runs fine.
If I am driving, stop and park, and try to restart it (either right away, or within an hour) - it won't start. All the light come on, all the dash, radio, hvac, all come on - but push the button - won't start (no crank, no clicking, nothing). I have a new battery and new alternator - problem existed before, and exists after.
I've pull the battery cable off and reset the ECM, giggled every wire I can get to, turns out - if I just let it sit - it starts. Super inconvenient when filling at the pump, running out for lunch, ....etc
thoughts?
I'll try to reproduce it this weekend to troubleshoot more.
