So Joe you now have WSI springs on? Wondering why ford thought 3 springs where enough. I'm thinking the ride would be stiffer like the old f250 is it not. Ill get to check it out soon

The stock spring is a constant spring. No matter what you put in the bed or how hard you come down on it after a jump, it will push up with the same force.

The progressive leaf pack is a variable spring. The more downward force, the stronger the spring is. At first, the spring may seem soft, and that is why the ride is nice. But when you load it up or get into a big jump, you get into the stronger part of the spring.

Get it? Have more questions??

I under stand that part. What is the difference between national, Denver and wis springs. I would say nothing unless they are tempered differently.

As far as WSI springs and Nationals they look vary similar the only visible difference was the metal straps.. Nationals have 3 straps around the pack verses WSI has 4 straps. Other than that number of leafs, the individual leaf lengths, overall length and arch was very similar. WSI leaf springs had a little more arch to them.. But the WSI pack was heavier than the national pack..

Greg,

Totally off topic, but your avatar is making crack up.
