IMO Rigid still has great lights, with great customer service. I have a 40" bar and Dually's. My dad has a 30 that had condensation issues, one phone call and they took care of the problem. I've learned a few things. Many companies can make quality products, everyone can have technical errors and "defects" so to speak, but very few have good customer service these days. I choose to support a company that cares about its customers.

I've got 4 Rigid Duallys, 4 Rigid D2's, a 30" Rigid E series and just bought a 50" Rigid E series... so far so good.

I can't speak for any other manufacturers other than Rigid.

I have their 40" E-Series and have had no issues with it in the two years that I've owned it. They even custom made my bar for me after the fact for an excellent price!

Granted I'm not near the off-road enthusiast that many on this forum are.


I've hear great things about all of them but can only speak to Rigid.

I have Rigid Duallys and had to return 1 for condensation. I had a real nice experience with customer service and the turn around was quick. No problems since and I still love them.

What I am reading here and other sites is how well Rigid is with customer service and returning items. Here is the thing..... I don't need good customer service if I don't plan to return the product. I am also reading a lot about condensation. Here is all I ask a good strong light that works and does not require returning. That is what I am looking for. A good product made in this country not just assembled here.

No issues with my rigids as of yet. Had them on for about a year now.

How many posts have you read about that contained issues with Whelen??
They are made in the USA.
The choice is clear to me.

Be weary of knock offs. Buy from a reputable vendor. Like Jimmy at WSI.
