Better Braking

To the OP,
EBC green stuff pads is a good upgrade over the factory pads. They will give you some of the "bite" feeling you're looking for. However, be prepared for extra brake dust on your front wheels. The pads are not clean by any means.

As a couple others have said, I upgraded my rubber lines to steel braided and it was an inexpensive upgrade that had huge impact. The pedal feel is much more consistent and seems to grab earlier in the pedal travel. I couldn't recommend them enough. Mine were from Outlaw, but it seems like they are more focused on UTV's these days. Any F150 kit should fit a Gen1.

I just finished with my Freedom Motorsports brake kit, I have to say what a difference!!! A+++++
9 1/2 years of driving spongy brakes and going through 3 sets of OEM rotors and pads with only 34,600 miles on my truck.

I went all the way, the two calibers on the left side were frozen, guide pins completely pitted. Freaking salt and liquid brine!!!
This comes with the extra length stainless steel braided brake lines for rear springs upgrading.
