I run e-30 I ran it stock with the long tube headers and all cai now with the tune. am soon going to tune it especially for e-30. ethanol runs lean witch is hotter witch means it burns clean so if all your doing is driving around would not even think twice, but with the tune it leans it out plus ethanol leans it out so be careful not to pull the truck for to long like towing long distance with a tune not set for e-30

I'm confusing

Oh Wilson! What would we do with out you. I'm pretty sure you would drink e-30 if SOBs like me didn't put liquefied Natural Gas in it haha. :sunot:

water cleans deposits left by regular gas. ethanol drips less at the tail pipe why?

I think the answer is it burns hotter=cleaner and if you spill ethanol it dose not do any harm. I like e-30 because it is better mpg than e-10 and better all around. I have never put anything more than e-30 in but I do run e-30 in every thing.

well then that would not be e-30 would it. you would have to run the tank about dry and add e-30 a few times to get a real resalt.

Pure Undenatured Ethanol
Pure Ethanol is Ethyl Alcohol with no other additives or denaturants. Pharmco’s Pure Ethanol is among
the highest quality in the world. Pure Ethanol is often referred to as pure alcohol even though the term pure
alcohol can refer to any proof of Ethanol. Pure Alcohol is still considered “pure” regardless of the “cut” of
water (i.e., pure, 200 proof Ethanol is referred to as pure alcohol, while Vodka is also referred to as pure
alcohol, even though it is only 80 proof). The term pure alcohol can also refer to other high purity alcohols
such as Methyl Alcohol, Butyl Alcohol, Benzyl Alcohol etc..
Pure Alcohol (Ethanol) is also commonly referred to as Beverage Grade Alcohol. Beverage Grade Alcohol
is always 192 proof and is derived from natural sources. Pharmco sells 192 proof Pure Ethanol which is
our product “Grain Neutral Spirits”. Pharmco does not however, sell alcohol for consumption purposes.

5. Does ethanol have a shelf life, and will it lose its octane level like gasoline does?
If it is sealed, it will last for years and years. If opened to the atmosphere, it will suck moisture out of the air and get a little bit diluted.
6. Isn't ethanol bad for certain fuel system components in fuel pumps and carbuerators?
No. Todays cars are built to be compatible with ethanol-blended fuels. When ethanol was first introduced in the 1980s, some cars experienced deterioration of some elastomers (rubber-like parts) and metal fuel system components. Very quickly, manufacturers upgraded their fuel systems so that today, they are now all compatible with ethanol fuels.

Just FYI I hope people know you can't drink e-30 or e-10 or whatever ethanol is mixed with. You can only drink 100% ethanol. I don't want some of you crazies drinking some of Wilson's mix and then half of FRF members don't come back.

Denaturants that Wilson talks about in his paragraph in short means that they poisoned it so people don't drink it.

We use 14 lbs gas which is Natural Gas you use to cook off your stove "not Propane" into liquid state and dump it in the 100% ethanol.

Just looking out for people.

Now back to Wilson's words of wisdom
