This weekend I'm going to try the Duplicolor aerosol bed liner and a few coats of their clear also. I've used both their blue can and the newest stuff in the black can. IMO the texture from the blue is much more even and easier to control. It's a bit finer, more like rough grit sand paper, but goes on nice and even. A few coats of clear makes gives it a bit more shine, like the running boards, gives it some added UV protection and makes em easier to hose when cleaning. I'll try and post up pics in this thread after I give it a go this weekend.

so you put clear over the bed liner or underneath the bed liner spray I always thought you wanted to have a paint free surface so that bed liner sticks

Yes over the bed liner. The clear adds more UV protection as most aerosol bedliners sprays are not UV resistant as say LineX. However I've used the blue can Duplicolor on bumpers and ATV parts with no fading a year later, parked fulltime outside in the SoCal sun. However it does go on a bit matte so the clear gives it some gloss and smoothens the texture just a bit (easier to clean). I experimented on a trash can lid over a year ago and it still looks great, lol!

Duplicolor doesnt hold up very well at all if you have to deal with winter, but it is cheap and you can freshen it up every year. That is what I do. I plan having them line x when I do the bed
