I prefer spray in and got a spray in bed liner as part of the package deal at driveout on my 2019. They used a local shop to get the liner sprayed in. I've never used a bed cover on any of my trucks. I never needed to store stuff in the bed that needed protection and I've also typically had an SUV for cargo that needed to stay dry. It was easier to not have a cover with the hauling I would do (dirt, mulch, lumber, appliances, furniture, etc.). I still have my old tried and true 2003 F-150 Lariat that has been great to me and I'll use that for all my hauling. For my Raptor, I decided to get a bed cover for when we go camping/off-roading maybe 4-6 times a year. That way I know my camping gear will stay put and stay dry for the trips. But again it will be for very short specific needs. So I decided to go with a Truxedo soft cover that was on sale this Black Friday for about $270. Thought what the heck, for that price I can keep my stuff dry for the camping trips. So I'm going to give it try for my first ever bed cover.
