For me at least, this isn’t related to charging. After driving 20 minutes checked battery voltage, 12.43V. After sitting for one night following that, 11.86V. Based on other random shit, I don’t think some of the modules are powering down as they should be. Locks and welcome lights in particular are erratic.

I ended up getting the BCMC replaced (they were trying to fix what ended up being an erroneous trouble code) but it completely fixed my stop start issue. It works exactly as expected now and my battery charge levels are as expected as well.

(Trouble code is still there even with a new BCMC lol)

Go to my thread; just had a DDM burn up. The dealer replaced my DDM and GWM; now all my connected features aren’t working. Yesterday Ford pushed a Customer Satisfaction Program related to a software issue with the GWM, TCU and APIM. Basically there is a known issue with the last OTA, so the dealer has to reflash the GWM and push an OTA to the truck . Supposedly this software issue is cause battery and connectivity issues from the last OTA. The OTA that they are pushing today, will not be released until March; but customers experiencing the issue will get it now directly from the Dealer through Ford Engineers.

100% a software issue. Go to my thread about Major Electrical Issues; the Ford Documentation is in page 8 from another member. My dealer received the same document yesterday.

Which OTA is problematic? The priority one? I have a 2021 and I’m a handful of “normal” updates behind

I haven’t seen that many acronyms in one paragraph in quite some time. 200.gif

I drove mine today and immediately got a notification through FordPass that my remote features have been disabled due to a low battery. It also reset all my gauge displays and menu ordering this time. Seems like it getting worse.

my problem is mainly with the incompetence and willful disinterest of service techs to fix this more than the actual issue itself. These shouldn't be that hard to ask for repair.

Your frustration is understandable. You could try to engage Ford C/S ; the service department should have already tried to engage the Ford Eng. team. Maybe @FordTechOne could offer some suggestions to assist in driving the issue to a resolution.

There’s a proper way to go about it and yeah, we paid all that money and all, but we’re still dealing with other human beings so we have to take that into account.
