Battery issues & Looking for advice before 1PM Mountain Time

I have the Duracell because the X2 didn't come in the larger size. That said, I've X2's in two other vehicles and really like them and prefer them. The Duracell has been rock solid for me thus far.

What size did you want? I'm talking about:

SLI94RAGMDP X2Power Premium AGM 840CCA BCI Group 94R 81Ah​

now Duracell does have a

SLI94RAGM Duracell Ultra Platinum AGM 800CCA BCI Group 94R 80Ah​

I personally have not done it but there is a pic floating around here where someone installed and not only did it fit the tray but even the sleeve fit (tightly). Look first before you buy.

It fits, next time I open my hood I'll snap a picture. It may be a hot minute because my hood release doesn't work properly, on the list for the next time it goes infor service. The battery shroudt also fits but I ripped my, I'm impatient but duct tape fixes all...

Hood release. Make sure to keep it lubed up. I’ve had hood latch issues fixed with grease.

Is it just a slight size difference? The Duracell is actually a little longer than the x2. The Duracell puts up some impressive numbers though and has the same warranty as the x2. I didn't know that.

It fits. Can't tell you more than that as I do not have the other. It fits perfectly as mentioned multiple times in this thread. Go forth and love the change!

Thinking of going with a larger 49/H8 for my truck. Have always had Interstate batteries and nothing bad to say. Anyone see anything good or bad about this battery?

Seems to be same dimensions as the Duracell others are using. Also measured the tray and appears it will fit.
