Bad Roof Seals or welds

Have it on one side of my '15 Navigator. Left it alone and no issues after 18 months. I just make someone else wash that side.

Lucky I have the same truck on order, I may keep it in the garage and see what kind of deal I can get when it comes it. Being out a small deposit is no big deal.
Just going to keep a ton of wax on it.

Looks like the gun ran out or was running out an got thin.

I just looked at 2 f-150s as well as my 17 raptor and they all have the same wavy seam. Doesn't look like a big deal....and unless you're driving around while sitting on the roof, you'll never see it. Prob looks worse in the pics.

This just shows poor quality control. No way a $60k plus vehicle should leave the factory like this. Thanks to the OP for posting. Good info and something to be on the look out for.

This was a big problem when the 2015 F-150s first came out. I figured by now Ford would have done something about it. Guess not, really sad!

Just another reason my next truck will be ordered without the twin panel roof.

Umm.... Its part of the mfg process for all F150's. Top roof panel is secured in place, then sealed at ditch, primed and painted. No roof panel opening required.

My bad. I thought it was the sunroof seal, since many have had issues with that in the past.
