So if my head unit feeds the tweets. That means they are not connected to the b&o amp. Doesnt that mean once that amp is gone , the tweeters will still work ?

No because communication to the b&o amp is can-bus/ a2b. It’s a digital signal vs analog. Like I said above, once you remove the amp, the ipc thinks there is nothing connected so it mutes all sounds and reverts them to the dash speaker. I assure you, there isn’t a way around this. I'm trying to avoid adding another piece of equipment. I've ran them From my front door speakers . Works fine. I dont know why people on forums try to push all the expensive stuff.
I actually turned off the fake engine noise and I'm using 3 lc2i links. After the b&o amp. Works ok to me.
Do you have pics of this install? Didn't even know audio control was making amps now! How do they sound??Removed the B&O amp and replaced the entire system with the following:
