I never had an issue with the B&O Unleashed sound until we bought a BMW with the Harman Kardon system from the factory. Now, I think my truck's sound is garbage and want to do something about it. I wish I could hear some of those plug and play setups y'all have in person, it would make the decision to spend that kind of money a lot easier lol. It has been about 18 years since I installed a system in any vehicle so I feel like I know nothing on this topic anymore as far as what's good, speaker sizes, etc.

Couple questions right off the bat:
1. I'm not fully understanding the difference between active and passive speakers. What's the main benefit of active setups?
2. The stealth box on your site...it looks like it blocks off where the spare tire jack sits, am I wrong here?
3. I understand that box has a 6.5" sub...is the bass output any higher that stock at all?
4. Why 6.5" speakers versus 6x9s?

Great questions, let me answer them, and maybe someone who has our package might chime in on the performance also.

1. I'm not fully understanding the difference between active and passive speakers. What's the main benefit of active setups?
- Passive is a traditional car stereo setup, no real tuning is involved, just good gear installed into the truck. The active setups are at an entirely different level. This means that we are tuning each individual speaker specifically for the acoustics of the truck. To do this, we are using a binaural microphone along with our team behind the laptop. The end result is something most customers have never experienced outside of a music studio. The passive to active jump is going from 400hp to 1000hp or going from a $12 steak to $150 steak :)

2. The stealth box on your site...it looks like it blocks off where the spare tire jack sits, am I wrong here?
- Yes, you will lose the jack mounting area. You can usually place this under the seat now since that space is not being used for a subwoofer upgrade.

3. I understand that box has a 6.5" sub...is the bass output any higher that stock at all?
- The size of the woofer is not what determines frequency or even output unless compared equally. The stealth enclosure will outperform anything else you could fit behind the seat and allow full functionality of the seat. What makes this enclosure work is its relationship to the acoustics of the truck and the vented design. We spent over 6 months developing this enclosure and tried everything you could imagine behind the seat. Either it did not fit or did not perform up to our standards. The key is space makes bass, not the woofer size. With it being vented, it's like adding a supercharger to an engine.. If you know what you are doing, magic happens... But if you just "guess" and throw parts at something, you will end up with a 300hp V10 engine over a 600hp V6 thinking bigger is better :)

4. Why 6.5" speakers versus 6x9s?
- As you get into higher-end speakers, they will normally all be 6.5 inches. The reason for this is development costs for the company and a 6.5-inch will fit 99% of vehicles in the world, whereas 6x9 only fits select American cars. It's a return on investment and if they are spending $300K to develop a speaker, the need to make sure it will fits many vehicles.

Hope this helps answer some of the questions.... You can also check out our YouTube videos and maybe that will build additional trust into what we are doing.

Won’t Accubass from AudioControl do the same thing? It’s not a bass boost. It restores bass roll off.

Question-

Im happy with the sound(volume)in my 23 Raptor with unleashed. That said, it lacks bass. I have a stealthbox with two 12s for under the back seat. Any solution for me to add the proper amp to my exciting set-up for more bass? thanks-

Added the “stealth plus” to my truck and I’m blown away by what those 6.5 subs can do! Best upgrade for the money!

Nice! any install pictures? Still holding off on ordering since I'm still in the "honeymoon phase" with the truck and dont want to drill two massive holes in it yet to run power to the engine bay. Is that the way you wired it?

Yes, drilled the holes and ran the cables underneath. Door panel blocks and the sound deadening material they give you is worth the upgrade
