Just a thought, but why couldn't you purchase a passenger door accuator and mount it in the tailgate like some DIY guys have done, then just tap into the 4 or 2 wires from the passenger door and run them to the tail gate? This should allow the one button push for drivers door only and two button push for passenger and tailgate. This should work, the system doesn't care how many accuators it has, just what to do when it gets a signal. Other than a slight boost in overall load on the system, which shouldn't cause a problem.

Just a thought!

I guess you have a Super Crew because you know about the double unlock push on the key fob to unlock the passenger side.
Super Cab Raptors need a extra relay for the alarm to perform that action at a cost of $75 installed.

Have you seen what the door actuator looks like, it's a big self contained square box and cost $168. That was the first thing I look at, the wires coming out of the unit are tied to the car for sensing door ajar and ground/Diagnostic as well as the two actuator wires.

Again the problem isn't triggering, it's when the actuator/seleniod is at rest and alarm is activated.

The Ford factory Alarm (or any high end remote start alarm) and the Raptor or a fully loaded 2010+ F150 is actually more sophisticated than you guys realize.
With todays technology getting cheaper and smaller, it's easier and cheaper to add a Micro Chip in the SJB then to run extra wires.

These guys who have done that home brew hook up do not have a $50,000+ 2010 and up Raptor, Harley Davision, Platinum or Linclon Mark LT.
I am almost certain that it would still interfere with the remote start and the alarm.

I have not giving up yet! I made a half dozen phone calls.
There are Technicians and Engineers looking into what can be done.
I will update when I hear something, hopefuly by the end of this week.
But I was told no promises.

I wonder, the few who have purchased the Pop and Lock, do you guys all have alarms?
I know it's a silly question because you probably do not have a key fob!
We need somone with a 2010 and up F-150 without a Ford Factory alarm or remote start to try to install the lock with the relay pack.
Just to verify that it is the alarm only.

I also found out that the pink wires that are in the instructions are for a 1987-1996 F-150

I have a 2011 SuperCab and it does have this feature... 1 click opens the drivers door only and a second click opens the passengers door. The weird thing is that when I use the key, the alarm goes off.

I have to give you credit, I would have given up a long time ago. Next time you talk to P n L let them know that there are others who are waiting on the side lines, waiting for a simple inexpensive remote lock. Thanks for all your leg work. Good luck!

That's intresting about your truck with the double push, I wonder if Ford did that for the 2011's or the alarm guy just installed all the parts.
I had to battle alittle with my dealer just to give me my harness for the extended option on the Ford Gold alarm.
Trying to find out simple info like this is worst then pulling teeth. It's like everything a big secret.

From other threads I've looked at it's not just the Raptor. It seems to be that in 2010 Ford changed the wiring a little from what the alarm guys are telling me.

Figures.....

Since we all know our locks can't be popped, the PATS system is perfect, and tailgate cant be stolen. There is no need for an aftermarket alarm or power tailgate lock! (end scarcasim)

I beg to differ, I and and many others would like to have the automatic tailgate lock feature! It is a great convenience to just walk up the your truck and open up the back and dump your stuff and keeping them safe.

I agree on that. Also bought the lock and now waiting for a solution. Did buy the Pace Edwards lock first, but didn't like it since it blocks the handle instead of operating the key lock. However the Pace Edwards lock did come standard with relays.
One of the options could also be to mount a limit switch to one of the door locks and use this switch for operating the tailgate lock. In this way you don't have an electrical connection between the regular lock/alarm circuit and the tailgate lock
