I'm just glad the alarm installer is working with me for small fee and not charging what he could if I went to the dealer.

As for wiring, I ran it under the truck to the front passenger door sil and connected to the two wires I found in one of the generic f150online install threads.

Thread I linked earlier said:
I just found out that if you wire up the Grey with Brown stripe and the Violet with Grey stripe then the tailgate will open with the SECOND press of the button. So it will open with all the passenger doors instead of with the drivers door.

This is for 2011 XLT Supercrew.

So there were no instruction with the one you bought. What I am trying to get at is, is the actuator a reverseable wire hookup meaning all you need to do is swap the two wires back and forth from positive to negative to make it move in and out.

It is for sure reversible. I wired it before I mounted the solenoid and had to swap the wires to make it work right.

If I only knew which wires dew.man used:insane:

Light blue with greed stripe, and gray with brown stripe.

Word of caution though: from what I remember, there were two wires of the same color in the harness and trial and error got me to the right one!

Thanks dew.man

Hope I helped!

It's been on there for about a month or two, and works like a charm!

In my truck the violet with gray is a double stripe meaning VT then GY then VT then GY equal widths around.
Now don't forget I have a Super Cab, when I tried those wires nothing happen.

All this time and it was because my _ _ _ _ _ _ _ alarm was not set up correctly, I want to sue somebody.

I will be writing and talking to The Ford dealer in Texas about this!
I want them to pay for the visit to the Ford alarm installer here in New York to setup the alarm correctly and I want them to pay for my install of the relays and program for the second unlock push to unlock the passenger door.

I am really PISSED OFF!!!!!!

And if you're (dealer) still following this thread, if you do not correct this I will start naming names!!!!!

Congratulations! I've been following this thread for a while debating whether I should install a pop and lock once I get my 2012.

So far from my understanding is that your alarm was installed improperly and that not all Raptors should have this problem unless installed improperly like yours???

Thanks for following through with this thread from start to finish!
