I think it was already mentioned here but if you have a Vin you can't make this change. My dealer at least said they'd have to cancel the order and re-order and nobody is going to do that

You did ask for a discount, didn't you?Just got a text from my dealer asking if I wanted to DELETE AUTO START/STOP feature. He cited that Ford is running low supply on those parts, so if I opt to delete this feature, that my truck could arrive sooner.
The dealer is going to find a way to mark up the price for that. You did ask for a discount, didn't you?
Ouch! Didn’t think of that until after I opted out of the function! And I didn’t think of the button either! You did ask for a discount, didn't you?
Not having the function is a huge benefit. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't get a discount for accepting a "crippled" truck. They call that win/win.Ouch! Didn’t think of that until after I opted out of the function! And I didn’t think of the button either!
Over the long run and not withstanding the “environmental benefits,” I just thought there would be less things to go wrong: stress on battery, stress on starter solenoid, less electronics, etc. Is that a valid “benefit” for not having this function?
Damn button. Going to be a show stopperOuch! Didn’t think of that until after I opted out of the function! And I didn’t think of the button either!
