I've already installed the regular K&N air filter replacement cartridge, but looking at the cold air intake system, more for the possible savings in slight fuel economy, but it never hurts to increase air flow and get more horses under the hood and at the rear wheels. Anyone done this yet? Is it worth the time and effort?

Check AirAid...did it and love it. Some speak of potential water ingestion if not sealed properly, I can see the outline marks on my firewall so I think mine seals ok...

Poke around the Forum, there are numerous posts with opinions and experiences with most all the CAIs on the market

I did the K&N system. I noticed the difference right away. Better low end and better mileage in town. Sounds good too.

I have the K&N as well. Have had it for a couple of months now and I really like it. No regrets at all. I keep meaning to do a full install wright up but I just haven't taken the time.

I've got it too and love it. Made an immediate impact. You will get no mpg gain though. You won't be able to keep your foot out of it. I promise.

ive always rocked K&N on all my vehicles till the raptor, wanted to try something new and did the airaid, having no lid worried me so I swapped it out for a AFE stage 2 with 5star lid, will never look back, it amazing intake and having that lid makes all the diff for me cause I know and have had 1st hand exp. with water getting into my intake housing

Did you do the write up of the install and review? If not, now would be the time for the DIY contest...
