Use the Motorcraft SP542's and gap to .025"

That's what I'm doing and if you Google it, many other Ecoboost 3.5 owners do the same for many reasons.

Do you have links showing this? Curious to see what the “many reasons” are for such a small plug gap and why it would need new plugs already.

Just got the tune in and it’s raining here in FL, first impression is Wow why didn’t it come this way from the factory. I put it in 4A and launched it and it spun all 4 tires and banged through the gears. Will know more tomorrow when it is dry out. A+++++++ would buy again

Google it... they work great in my truck. Idles smoother and took out some hesitation in the mid range. Colder plugs also are a better option when a boosted vehicle is tuned.. Google that as well.

I had the same issue after installing mine. It was pouring, but I wanted to take it out. Ended up drifting it around some corners by accident. It was fun though. Never thought that’d be entertaining in a 5700lb truck

Once it was dry, it would roast the rear tires as well. Good times.

I had to get rid of the stock KO2’s because of how bad it would spin the tires on wet roads. On wet roads the truck would be literally unsafe to drive and would spin all 4 under mild acceleration. I put a set of Duratrac’s on and let me tell you they made a world of difference. Doesn’t break loose under mild throttle in 2WD and haven’t broke loose in AWD.

Roasting the tires is a little bit of an exaggeration...

But yeah.... a well tuned Raptor will break them loose a bit on a dry road.

To the guy with the Duratracs...

Been thinking about them too....

I’m down to those vs the Mickey thompson ATZ P3

Have we had confirmation that this will be the kit offered by Ford Performance, eventually?

Me thinks yes.

Can’t prove it.

Do you know if Ford typically matches an extended Ford warranty when things like this are offered? I ask, because I have a 6yr/150k mile one. Didn't know if they honor this, or just default to the standard warranty months/miles.
