They have good reviews and have been very communicative. Next step would be to escalate to whipple themselves

That’s a lot of dough to cough up. I’d reach out to Whipple directly as others suggested. Have the place that has it right now email you a breakdown of repairs needed along with pictures to support their claims. Forward that to Whipple and get their opinion. Bad situation no matter which way you look at it.

Update. Agreed to just do all bearings which significantly reduced the price to 2200$ still going to reach out to whipple and cross check that this sounds correct. Also asked them if they may have damaged it in someway and it doesnt sound like it.

Is that the rear part of the case? How many bearings do they have?

Yea its the rear bearings. They are the only ones isolated and in oil. They also are the timing bearings to my understanding. I think there is only 2

In total there is 6 i think. 2 in front, 2 in rear, 2 for the snout
