My brother loves his TRX. Wasn't about to play Ford's game on Raptor R...$40K over sticker.Nothing wrong with that plan. I like my TRX.

I told Dodge dealer to put my name on the list for first-day order for 2023-2024 Dodge Demon. Won't be any more.At my age and zip code insurance on my 2010 is like $25 a month and I figure in a few years when the 6.2 goes I can swap in a supercharged 7.3 Godzilla and buy a used lightning for a DD.
I can understand the disappointment of having to deal with the Ford dealerships - the majority of them are unscrupulous. And it sucks that it'll mostly be unobtainable, but that just speaks to the vehicle's desirability.Nothing against the vehicle itself, just the rollout of it. Outrageously priced, dealership games, unobtainable...just a lot of hard feelings. And did I mention outrageously priced? LOL. Just a damn ford truck, but folks acting like they'd sacrifice their firstborn to get their hands on one.
Frenzy may never be overEasy for me to watch the show. I love my gen 2 and have zero interest in an R. Gen 3? Yeah, I'm planning to upgrade after the feeding frenzy is over.
I know. With gen 3 production numbers going down because of the R, it could be bad for a while. I'm thinking MY2025 will be my best shot. The wildcard is when does Ford announce the end of the ICE Raptor? That's gonna cause another feeding frenzy, but this time I might be fighting for a place. We'll see. Could easily be a recession coming, too, and gen 3s for invoice. Interesting times. The good news is that I'm not in a hurry and I could live with a powerboost F150 Tremor, so if push comes to shove, I have a backup plan.Frenzy may never be over
