Lmao. I drink my coffee black and personally don’t like Starbucks coffee. I will grab a Java Chip Frappuccino with extra espresso every once in awhile when the wife wants something there. If I ever drive my Raptor through the drive thru I’ll take a pik and post it for everyone to enjoy. I ordered my Blackvue through Blackboxmycar the other day. Got the 128gb. Between the info I got on here and speaking with a rep at Bkackboxmycar I figured 128gb was more than enough for the money. I was informed that unless I keep my car parked outside for more than a week in a high traffic area I’d never really have a need for 256gb. I do agree with more is better. But sometimes enough is actually enough. With the $80 I saved I can get a 1/2 tank of gas!!!!!!

The price difference between a 128 and 256 is so small that why would you go with a 128?
No offense, but he basically explained why he went with a 128, which I did as well. My truck is parked at MOST in a grocery store parking lot. It will never be parked anywhere longer than a day. It just simply is not needed.

So here is how I wired my Blackvue 590x. I got the fuse taps on EBay. I placed 5amp fuses to the camera. All the wiring easily tucked under the headliner. Removing the A Pillar cover was easy. Plenty of room to fold up and store the excess wiring next to the fuse box and out of site behind the cover. Fuse spot #2 listed as “Delayed Accessory Feed”. Fuse spot #4 listed as “Not Used” (however it did have a fuse in it). FB85DF55-41D5-43B1-9C3D-692F191FF3DE.jpeg

For those familiar with the Blackvue900. it comes in different SD card sizes, but the price difference on Amazon is huge for bigger size. Why wouldn't i just buy the smallest size and then buy a cheaper large SD card separately? Am i missing something?

Can someone post a pic of what their dash cam and rear cam look like installed in their truck. It's kind of a no brainer to invest in a dash cam but just want to see what one would look like installed

Here ya go. Can’t even see mine from the driver’s seat. I do not have a rear cam.

I am in the same boat as you. I am on vacation and reading away on cams. I was going to get the 1ch and add the 2nd (back camera) channel later BUT.. if you get a Blackvue, you CANNOT retrofit a 2ch on a 1ch. You need to either get a 1ch or 2ch. No way to add on later without buying the 2ch system
following up here. blackboxmycar told me the S model, that was the case, you cannot add. However the X plus model you can add the rear later if you like.

Interchangeable Secondary Camera

The DR900X Plus comes with a universal secondary camera port on all front camera units - this means you can easily add on a rear camera, an infrared (IR) or an exterior IR camera to fit your changing needs.
With a rear camera and corresponding video cable, you can easily turn your DR900X-1CH Plus into a dual-channel DR900X-2CH Plus, DR900X-2CH IR Plus or DR900X-2CH TRUCK Plus.
