I never thought I'd "enjoy" driving a truck. I used to have a ton of sports cars (Corvettes, M3, Lotus Esprit, Viper, etc) and slowly migrated over to sport sedans (Audi S4's) when we started having kids and then on to SUVs once I couldn't fit the kids in my cars. I've had a Tahoe, a couple H2's, a Grand Cherokee, Yukon Denali, etc. For the past couple of years I thought the idea of a pick up would be cool but I didn't think I'd want one as my only vehicle... I've always liked the Raptors but had never been in one until my buddy bought one last summer. That's it, I was hooked. I'm so glad I ended up buying one, it hasn't even been two weeks and I can say I'll probably always have a truck like this now! I also love the idea that these trucks are so mod-able... I'm not into off roading (but I'll never rule anything out) as I just don't have much free time these days but I love the idea of customizing something enough to make it mine. So far, I've only added the Craven stubby antenna and I have a Bakflip Fibermax on its way from Morrie and I'm also waiting on my second pair of Vortex mud flaps to arrive (they only sent one pair by accident). I'll probably get the front windows tinted next week and my friend is still working on custom bed graphics, so we'll see how that goes.
If the weather around here would ever stay nice for more than a day I'd love to actually spend some time cleaning it up! Hopefully this weekend!
Anyway, here's a couple pics I took last night when I was leaving work...
