I've used Griots and Zaino extensively. Just started reading on the Adams page and I may buy a bunch of stuff from them to try.
Here in AZ, it's super dusty all the time. Every wax product I've tried has ended up attracting dust, almost like a static dust attractor. I've also had wax products that went very soft on the car in the sun.
Then I found Zaino. Zaino is a polymer paint sealant, not a wax. With Zaino the time investment is dramatically lower. Zaino gives great protection and shine but I'm sure top wax jobs are better (for a day or two).
I have a pretty easy Zaino process.
1) wash the car
2) clay bar the car with Zaino detailer spray as a lube, wiping dry with microfiber towel as you go. Time for BMW 750i, 30-40 min. Do this once or twice a year.
3) Apply Zaino, very little product is used, maybe 1-2 oz for the whole car. Key is very little. Too much and its harder to wipe after. Let dry and remove excess with microfiber towel. If too much left on car, use Zaino detail spray to remove. Time to apply on 750i BMW, 15 min. Time to dry in AZ, 20 min. Time to wipe, 30 min.
4) maybe apply another coat, if I'm feeling particular.
5) Wipe with detail spray.
I do this once a year. Weekly washes followed with a detail spray and wipe that takes maybe 10 min after the wash.
I've done several side by side tests on the detail spray. Use after the Zaino on 1/2 the hood. The side without Zaino detail spray is dusty in 1 day. The side with the spray is mostly dust free for 3-4 days.
