You are not getting "wax" -- not even close... Synthetic polymers but don’t feel bad there are a lot of others who do not know the difference either...

The boy does speak the truth. Been doing it for too many years on too many vehicles!! Do not care what "snake oil salesman tells you" nothing will protect your truck from scratches better than a couple of coats of carnauba over sealant.

I use the Adams Americana—very nice product..

Boss, how do you like the Americana vs Souveran? I realize this is also $70 vs. $100. I'm going to try the Americana next, just curious about your opinions on how it stacks up.

I was hoping to win the Memorial Day Patriot wax give away. Haha

I haven't ordered from Zaino yet. I'm still reading up on waxes. For the past several years I've just used meguiar's nxt generation tech wax 2.0 from my Local Wal Mart. I must say, its good stuff.

Jezzzzz dude ask me an easy one next time!! This one is difficult because they are both excellent products. Both give a beautiful glow while adding depth however. Will give a slight edge to the Americana for color definition on my black vehicles. The ease of removal will give a slight edge to Americana as well—wipes off better and cleaner esp in hot conditions which is important. The ease of application goes to the Souveran because it does not break apart into smaller pieces as easily as the Americana. Still both are very easy to work into the applicator on my Makita 6040.

Really think that the both last about the same but have never seen how long they will actually last because I “wax” at least once a month.

Wow, good to hear. Can't wait to try the Americana. I love the way Souveran makes the metallic flakes pop, if you say Americana has even better color definition, I'm gonna be impressed.

How hard is the Machine super sealant to apply by hand? What "wax" do you recommend applying after the Adam's machine super sealant? I'm still assuming that it is ok to apply this over my graphics since I'm not going to use a machine.

Also, I've only had my truck a week. Should I let the fresh paint "cure" a while before using sealants, waxes, etc...

I'd stick to wax made for hand waxing. It is safe to apply over factory graphics, because they are clear coated. Aftermarket graphics most likely are not.

There's no "cure" period. The longer you wait, the more potential damgae it could receive. First thing I would do is give it a good wash. Then you need to clay bar it. There's stuff already stuck in to the clear coat. Mostly rail "dust"
(metal shards from train transit). Then whatever glaze (optional). Then wax.

I saw the rail dust first hand when I went to the dealership. They hadn't washed it before I got there. I couldn't believe how filthy the truck was. It was completely covered in bugs, road grime, rail dust, etc...

I have an old clay bar from Griots, but I ordered a new one with my Adam's order along with the following. .

K-WW-COL Adam's Waterless Car Wash Collection 1 $54.95

K-DS2-COL Adam's Detail Spray Collection with FREE UPGRADE! 1 $64.95

APP-BLOCK-6PK Adam's VRT Super Block Dressing Applicator 6 Pack 1 $8.95

SVRT-36 Adam's Super VRT Tire & Trim Dressing-36 oz 1 $39.95

K-PVG Adam's Perfect Vision Glass Cleaner & Sealant Combo 1 $33.95

CLAY Adam's Detailing Clay Bar 1 $26.95
All I need to decide on is the best sealant-Wax- paint protectant combo

Cure with modern painting processes in the factory is finished before it goes outside!!

Cannot speak to the stickers as those are the first things I remove..

This depends entirely no what kind of life your truck lives. If it's a daily driver that sees weather and nasty conditions, then you're definitely going to want a sealant, either our Machine Super Sealant if you have a machine, or Quick Sealant (which we hope to have in stock by the end of next week) if you are working by hand.

If it's more of a fair weather vehicle, then go with the Brilliant Glaze/Americana or Patriot Wax combo. As far as looks are concerned, this combo is crazy! Many of our customers call it "The Facelemter" because of the depth and clarity the glaze/wax combo gives the paint.

If you are crazy like a good detailer should be, then your third route, like I mentioned before, is to do all three. Ether the Machine Sealant or Quick Sealant, then the Brilliant Glaze, then the Americana/Patriot to amplify everything and lock it all in.

It's difficult to spread it evenly, hence the name. If you don't get it spready evenly, the spots where you may have went a little heavy on it will be difficult to remove and you won't be a happy camper.

Quick Sealant is the solution if you don't have a machine to apply the MSS with.
