I have a 2011 and the AC does not work as well as my other vehicles. It is a Ford just learn to live with it. The rest of the truck makes up for it!

The ac is cooler if your driving vs sitting in one spot at idle. My 2010 5.4 will freeze you out

Exactly, if your going to be creeping along in traffic, make sure it's on max ac / recirc, that helps a lot.

Yeah once the temp was back in the high 80s and low 90s mine works great, but at over 100 it takes awhile to actually cool the truck down to a comfortable level.

I'm not very impressed with the a.c. I'm my '11. Granted i do live in az and its hotter than hell here. It does get cool after a while but i have to keep the vent pointed directly at me to keep from getting hot. Far from freezing me out .

One thing to always look at if you have the dual control, make sure you have it where one temp controls BOTH sides. I had mine set for 60 on my side and didn't see that the other side was sittin on like 75. The damn truck didn't know what the hell it was to do, so I got both hot and cold air comming in. THAT SUCKED! It can do that to ya in the winter as well.

Just make sure its not in dual mode.

I have a temp gauge that I keep inserted in the dash vents so I can see what the air temp is being blown out at. If it does not feel right I can look and see if it is just me or an actual issue. I have a buddy that has radiator/air cond. auto shop and he can fine tune the temp by adjusting pressures and motor RPM's. I had my last truck where it blew cold at idle, but warmed up with RPM, and I could see it with my gauge to verify. The newer coolant is more picky than the old R-12 systems.
Hope this helps,
Lou
