The notices being mailed by FORD ref 11B25 do not specify which build dates are affected. I received mine today (GA). Presumption is based on the VIN #, FORD is mailing the notices to Raptor owners that may need a replacement drive shaft.
For those curious as to what the notice contains, if the administrators are OK with it, I will convert it to PDF and post it on Monday.
In talking to the FORD service technicians today, they told me they will replace drive shafts with part numbers: BL-3V4602-AB or BL-3V4602-BB. They made me bring the truck in to inspect it. If the drive shaft part number ends in AC or BC, you already have the good one and no replacement is required.
My drive shaft is now on order.
Ok guys... Clunk just started on my 2011 truck with 48,000 miles. I have the drive shaft part number: BL3V4602AB. I called my local ford and the service guy blew me off... Said that 11b25 is just a tsb and that there's very little chance they will replace my drive shaft. He said they would lube the yoke ON MY DIME... But that there has been no recall on my driveshaft. Carfax says my build date on my truck was 2/18/11 which is in the range people are getting their shafts replaced. What's the trick to get them to do it? Some on here say that 11b25 became a true recall but my ford dealer says that's not the case?! Let me know what's right and what's wrong!
If they won't swap out the driveshaft shouldn't the lube job be covered under my powertrain warranty?!

Took the truck in Tuesday and they are going to replace the drive shaft in the next week as well as a damaged tire with a sidewall cut. They say there are 350 drive shafts available. Wow! I don't know if that is locally, statewide or what.
What did you have to do to get them to replace the shaft? My local dealer said 11B25 is not a recall but only a tsb and there is little chance I can get my shaft replaced... He said best he could do is have the yolk lubed in my dime....
I have an existing powertrain warranty so I figured I wouldn't be running into these issues...

Against what many wanted everyone to believe, not every truck had this. I've got around 27k on mine, drive the **** out of it off road and have not a peep out of my driveshaft. If you don't have it, don't sweat it and if it ever appears, you know there's a fix for it.
Any ideas what I can do to push ford to replace mine? Seems like I qualify under ever detail listed on here... Year, build date, shaft part number...
Is 11b25 a real recall? My local ford service says no

Yep, got mine yesterday in the mail. Already had the fix done. I will give my service writer a buzz and let him know. He may need to see it again for a quik look to get his check from ford.

Any ideas on what I should do?
