Hi Crystal, is there a solution for those of us that have the "clunk" and are outside of the narrow serial range posted elsewhere in this thread?...
I think my 2014 is starting to have this issue, guess I better start reading...

I climbed underneath the truck to look at what they repaired on my rig to eliminate the clunk. The seal kit is a rubber seal that fits snug around the drive line shaft itself. I assume that they pack it with grease and then reassemble it. Mine is as smooth as silk and I have had no more issues.
If you believe a new drive shaft will fix the problem then knock yourselves out but good dealerships will long term Ford Master Mechanics know how to fix this problem.
