I think the dealer is supposed to do nothing ( literally) until the new resolution is decided on. I've heard they won't even lube the yoke.

Just bought a 2011 Raptor Screw which began manufacture during the week of 1/24 and has developed the same clunk which started at about 800 miles. Saw in previous postings that this problem was to be taken care of in models built after 1/7.....not. Whatever was done to address the problem doesn't seem to be working. Have an appointment for Wednesday at the dealer. Will see if I at least get a temporary fix.
That sucks, but many of us are in the same boat. Please let us know what they say/do. Ford has stopped recommending the slip yoke lubrication, at least for those who have already had it done once. Curious to see what they do for someone with a new truck.

it's so nice to have everything you ever wanted to know about the CLUNK in one place(why does my left hand always go to the Shift button when i type CLUNK?)
anyway...i'm looking around the other forums and see 100 cry baby threads about the problem and how people are actually cancelling orders over it like it's the end of the world. this is getting out of hand...but not on FRF. thanks guys!
