Ford is working on a fix for your 11 raptors just an FYI

3007 - 2011 RAPTOR DRIVELINE CLUNK/SLIP/BUMP/CHIRP
SOME 2011 F-150 RAPTOR VEHICLES MAY EXHIBIT EXCESSIVE CLUNK OR A CHIRP/SLIP/BUMP CONDITION FROM THE DRIVESHAFT ON ACCELERATION FROM A STOP OR WHEN BRINGING THE VEHICLE TO A STOP. GREASING THE SLIP YOKE OR DRIVESHAFT REPLACEMENT WILL RESULT IN REPEAT REPAIR ATTEMPTS. ENGINEERING IS INVESTIGATING THROUGH THE QUICKER SERVICE FIX (QSF) PROCESS, AND IS DEVELOPING A SERVICE REPAIR PROCEDURE. CONTINUE TO MONITOR OASIS FOR UPDATES.
Sweet! I may be able to keep this truck. Hopefully it's not a Union fix and it will be late 2012 before we hear about it.

Cool. Ya know in the last 2 days mine has gotten more noticable. I put the Flowmaster 44 on and have been manually shifting a bunch because it sounds so damn BAD ASS especially decelerating in 3rd and 2nd from speed. I guess I have pushed a little grease out of the splines! AHhahaaaaa.

When they decide the gearing is the issue they will put 13 inch rims with 245 series tires and a .255 ratio rear end. HAhahaaaaaaa. Probably would still do 100 mph. HAhaaaaaaaaa.

Thanks BDRAG! My interpretation of that is we should all recieve new 2 piece driveshafts on our next service. It shouldn't be limited to 2011's.

I was under the impression that most of the clanckers were SCREWS. So the SCABS also make the Jamaican drums sound?

So I dropped my truck off at the dealer for the "clunk" and...

They called me today and said that Ford had canceled the TSB and is working on a permanent fix. He didn't have any more details for me but I'm guessing Ford is making some changes to the driveshaft. Has anyone else heard this?

3007 - 2011 raptor driveline clunk/slip/bump/chirp
some 2011 f-150 raptor vehicles may exhibit excessive clunk or a chirp/slip/bump condition from the driveshaft on acceleration from a stop or when bringing the vehicle to a stop. Greasing the slip yoke or driveshaft replacement will result in repeat repair attempts. Engineering is investigating through the quicker service fix (qsf) process, and is developing a service repair procedure. Continue to monitor oasis for updates.
