Ford has got all you *******. They are selling EcoBoosts like crazy and when they release a nasty v8 in the current gen 2, they'll get the 3.5l owners to trade up and the gen 1 fanboys to hop on board too. Why would they ever make the first year vehicles what everyone wants with no potential for upgrades, most people would stop buying trucks. Incrementaly add things each year. The V8 is coming but will probably be in the last 2 or 3 production years. The gen 1 was a great truck, but the gen 2 is better.

Incredible insights! Did you figure this all out on your own, or did you get it from a Facebook post that guaranteed the 7.0 was coming?

I got it from your mom, last night . Apparently shes been having sleepovers with all the Ford Performance guys and they've been spreading loads of knowledge to her.

Figures, I knew you weren't smart enough to come up with this on your own.

It is amazing to see how this has gone on and on. From the comments, it seems like the gen 2 adopters of the ecoboost are now overcompensating for their choice. What I mean is, why fight over your engine choice unless you, yourself are still not confident about it?

Yeah, totally agree. Those G2 losers are definitely overcompensating for their faster, lighter, and more powerful V6TT. Plus those insecure G2 bastards constantly mock all the blog posts that have been guaranteeing a 7.0 V8 was coming to the Raptor since 2016. Who do these guys think they are?

Why fight over anything when it was the only choice for a Raptor since 2014, and inarguably superior to the Gen1? Just about every performance car/truck line in history has a goal of the next iteration being in some way better than its predecessor, and the Raptor will likely be no different (especially with the TRX now coming on line).

If you've bought a performance vehicle, and you think it's going to stay the OMG MOST BESTEST EVAR permanently, you're probably going to be disappointed...a lot.

I'm amazed that you're amazed at a non-existent phenomenon. What concoction of drugs do you take for such vivid imagination?
