On the 91 perf tune I am not getting the O2 code like I am on stock tune. My guess is that they are bypassing sensor. Still have 5 incompletes though

That's what I understand add well. The performance tune bypasses the rear O2 sensors.

Which ones are incomplete? Are you back to stock?

I am still on the tune. I can check which ones and post here.

Going back to stock today again. And it looks like my front O2 sensor on passenger side that is throwing error on stock tune

What is Mike@5 Star saying, with all the incompletes?
Does he even make a tune with all the safeties and O2s on?

And I quickly tried to see what exhaust you're running could you post more than Borla Exhaust? Headers, cats, resonator, etc.

I called Mikes, talked to someone, never got a call back.

I am running SW LT with cats, borla s dumped after rear axle.

I have returned tune to stock, getting code P0053 which is the O2 sensor, passenger side, in front of the cat, unfortunately the toughest one to reach.

I am getting 5 incompletes, I will get those up tomorrow

Just a little tidbit, there is member that got his Whippled Raptor to pass with Kooks LT headers and cat-back exhaust in California with the Whipple/Ford Tune.
I don't know how the headers were over look but mums the word.

Whipple is still in the process of getting that cert for California for the LT headers.

He had a hard time of it and the solution was to remove the high flow cats and weld the stock cats back in.
High flow cats have half the elements inside from the stock cats.

I'm mention this because this might be a fix for you ( Maybe? ) Stock Tune and stock cats.
I don't think I have ever seen LT headers and stock Tune work, on the forums.

Or you may have a lazy O2 sensor, or the wire to the O2 got damaged. From other members this has come up quite often.

Your guess is as good as mine.

One quick question did you get the extension cable for that O2 or you just stretched it?

Everyone should read the above before they even purchase a tune. Great info for the folks new to tunes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never disconnected my battery. (I've had it for 2 years and never even knew that was a requirement). Anyway, I used to change it back to stock when truck was still under warranty and going to dealer for service. Now I don't bother changing it for them. Anyway, I used to change to 91 Performance, back to stock, and so on, several times and worked great every time. The only time I had an issue with it running rough was when the tune seemed to have a hiccup one time while uploading to the truck. So I just loaded the tune again and problem solved.

On a side note, I tried to get an emissions inspection a couple weeks ago, and the tech said nothing was showing up on diagnostics. After thinking about it a bit, I went home, returned the tune to stock, went back to emissions inspections a few days, and miles, later. Passed inspection, and then set tune back to 91 Performance (and still haven't disconnected battery).

Disconnecting the battery is not a requirement just recommended especially if your pressed for time.
If you put enough miles on it you will be fine. Unless like you said something went south with uploading or you have other issues.

We used the extension.
