I’m not saying Ford has to fix it on their dime. What I am saying is, all things being equal and assuming you’ve been truthful, that’s not an answer and you should call them on it.

If you haven’t already, open a case with Ford c/s.

Agreed. Going to the dealer to figure out as to why it was denied. Thus far no info, but they may have just been vague on the phone. We will see

What dark line? I assume you arent referring to the crack itself.. lol. The red/orange on bottom, I have no clue. Either they did that, or it came that way for some reason. It is not meant to highlight damage - I asked. Ill follow up on that tomorrow as well

Did you buy it new? If not, I would go back to the seller first, then Ford.
